Totally agreed and so many of us have said this. We are playing an outdated brand of cricket. Even England, yes remember how England opened with Atherton in 96 when we opened with Sana and Kalu? Well they now open with Hales and Roy and play a string of quality stroke makers. What are we doing? Batting Tharanga and Chandi in the top 4 - needless to say chasing 300+, the modern score, is lost before it starts when you have two traditional accumulators in the top 4.

This is just one issue. The other being the lack of big hitters or put it another way, the reluctance to select big hitters in the playing eleven. We need to change folks, we changed the world and the world has now run ahead and we are running backwards.
