I'd like to know how anyone can think it's "smart" to have just one 2 day game as your sole practice match to prepare and acclimatise for a Test series in a different continent.

How do you prepare a whole squad with just 2 days in the middle?
If you are really unlucky majority of game could get washed out too and then you have nothing!

Here we go again! A visiting team has lost in SL and now come all the intelligent sounding rubbish. You would think Elgar lives in a 3rd country and not SA as if he was from SA he would know how SA treat's us. Disappointing but expected reaction - need to accept defeat.
