Duleep Mendis inaugurates Yenepoya's Sports Complex in Mangalore, India
A comprehensive, state-of-the-art indoor sports complex, aptly named Yendurance Zone to represent the name and image of the Yenepoya University was inaugurated at the university's campus in Deralakatte on Saturday, Feb 19, in the presence of eminent dignitaries, guests, staff and students. The most distinguished guest on the occasion was former Sri Lanka cricketer and former Sri Lankan cricket board CEO Duleep Mendis. He cut the inaugural ribbon at the main entrance, followed by city police commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh who inaugurate the Squash court. (Mangalore Feb 19)

I didn't know that he was coming. Was shocked to see the news next day about the Sri Lankan Legend visiting my city. Missed another opportunity.

Nice to see the great Duleep Menids being appreciated. Nishantha Ranatunga kicked him out of SLC. What a sad waste of management experience? This guy has a great rapport with ICC because he held high positions within SLC and was never accused of anything like DS and Nishantha have been accused of doing!
