Kusa perera is a must layer foe the odi team but he should bat at no4 while some one like angelo mathews could be a better option at no7

No7 is bighitting allrounder's spot, no doubt at all.. If kjp is batting, ideally should be higher up, not 7..madushanka isn't international cricket material..Wanidu bowls well, BUT it's obvious he's more of a top order player...We're going nowhere playing him at 7 in l/O.. So dasun shanaka is the correct person...He has power, good technique and his bowling is very good too..IF we needed spin allrounder for spin tracks, seeku/siriwardene should play..
Wanidu batting @7 is like mendis playing t20 for me, can harm their future... Better off with a genuine big hitter like kjp, kapu if allrounders unavailable

Dasun Shanaka and Wanidu Hasaranga should be swapped according to the conditons and team balance. If we are going with 2 seamers, 2 spinnes play Dasun, 3 seamers, 1 seamer play Wanidu.

I also agree with NMM wanidu doesn't look like a natural No.7 for limited overs cricket. He can hit big however

If we consider about current ODI lineup,Dickwella and Dhanushka @ the top of the order, are doing a good job.

Kusal Mendis is our permanent no.3 batsman and Tharanga with the experience and temperament seems to have done well in 4th spot during Zimbabwe ODI series where Chandimal occupied earlier.

At the moment,Chandimal's form and strike seem to be the issue to be a member of the ODI squad (No doubt he is a fine player and he can make a comeback but atm, I won't pick him for ODIs).

Asela and Mathews are more suited for holding roles during sudden collapses and the finishing roles. But We need an extra batting cushion down the order @ the 7th spot. That batter should be a clean stricker, busy customer or more of a batting allrounder. That is why I added KJP as an option to consider.

Dasun for me but no idea what has happened to this guy - he would be handy for the next WC in England.
