He doesn't have a decent technic behind his batting or range of strokes to manoeuvre the field. Once in a blue moon, he came up with some good batting performance only because of his sheer luck. If he wants to keep his place in the team he should have to improve his bowling, especially in the death. For the time being, he should be dropped.

If you say he got to be dropped even the other bowlers should everyone was expensive.

It is not a bad option in T20s. Thisara has the ability to hit the ball hard but, keeps getting out with some silly strokes. What is going on? Where is the Batting coach?

He might not have the best technique, but if he can get a quick 20-30 and give us a good start, it might be something worth considering. Plus since he can also bowl one or two overs we can have a more balanced side as well. Then someone like Dasun Shanaka can be also included in the 11.

Continues to disappoint but continues to get selected! Lets give him a break and try others.

Absolutely useless player. His eternal gameplan is to just go out there and swipe his bat and bowl some dibbly dobblies at batsmen and bowlers alike who have oodles more talent than him while having played much less cricket
