I think our team didn't consider Imran Tahir as a threat. Last years world cup he featured and did well against us. We should do more analysis of players before a tour begins, our coaches have failed in this respect.

Especially Dhananjaya de Silva & Dinesh Chandimal had no answers to Imran Tahirs Googlies.

I don't think our batsmen r trained to "pick" variations of bowlers ... they just play on instinct.. Has to change though..

Do we do any analysis? Do we have team meetings where the coach and video analyst show players footage of the opposition? I dont think so.

Tahir is a fantastic limited overs bowler and is in fact ranked #1 but yes really surprised how poorly we have played him. It's one think to struggle against the pace attack but another to struggle against spin.
