Look at this news Bangladesh is doing the smart move which is why sri lanka is find it difficult to win a series againist them. there bring in young talents and its because of your mentality and the selectors mentality is why we keep playing players who are failures and don`t have talent. Instead i recommend sri lanka cricket to start to think smart like the other national cricket teams and get Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka as it only a one day trip to the start of the t20s from the finals and its worth doing.

Sri lanka have brought in players a day before a match like Sandun Weerakkody in the South Africa vs Sri Lanka, 1st ODI so it is not going to be an issue

IT BECAUSE OF YOUR STUID MENTALITY LIKE THE SELECTORS IS WHY SRI LANKA IS FAILING TO GET BETTER AND ITS YOUR 'cricket brain' Which IS STUPID AND AS LONG AS SRI LANKA CRICKET AND STUPID FANS LIKE YOU HAVE THESE MENTALITY SRI LANKA CRICKET WILL NEVER BE LIKE IT WAS WHEN WE HAD kumar sangakkara and mahela jayawardene

Dickwella and Kusal Perera are injured and will not be apart of the t20s

That's the best selector can do to ruin this hipo's career. He is not a t20 type player. He is a solid middle order batsman who can play the anchor role. We have tested more new players than any other country since 2015 with least amount of success. Identifying talent is not just enough. There should be a proper talent management framework in place. I don't think our selector have a clue about having such a system . If a youngster do well in the longerversion, selecctor may pick him for the t20 team. Ultimately the guy fails miserably and never get a chance in the appropiate format.

Forger about picking up youngsters, Our selectors do not seem to have any sort of proper mechanism across the board. How manfy times we have seen a guy wgo does extremely well in a particular format is dropped out cos they fail in another format. ultimately those players lose self confident and become below par players in all formats. Classic example is the way our selectors managed Thirimanna. He failed often in test cricket while having quite good track record in ODIs. When he plays poorly in test cricket he was dropped from the ODI team too. Then again when he gained confidence and started performing at domestic arena, they pick him again for the Test team..
