In my person opinion the Sri Lankan selectors should give the opening spot to the two remarkable youngsters Avishka Fernando and Danuska Gunathilaka because they provide the team with right hand and left hand combination at the top of the order. They will perform brilliantly in the ODIs and T20s and definitely be the Sri Lankan team's prospect for the future especially for the 2017 Champions Trophy, 2018 T20 World Cup, 2019 ODI World Cup and etc.. They both are creative stroke playing batsmen which can create many issues for the bowler thinking of what type of bowls to bowl during the game. They have talent to show the whole world and they should be given the chance straight after Dilshan's retirement.

Interesting the votes for Avishka - the guy is yet to play a single first class game, but as we already know with Mendis, this doesn't really matter.

I must say I would go with Kusal and Danushka at this stage. If that doesn't work lets reassess but not like after 2 games!

Go with Dhananjaya and Gunathilake. Let Kusal play as a floater, because he can honestly play any position from opener to number 7. I don't think Dhananjaya should be at 6, in limited overs cricket, you need to have specialised middle order batsmen- it's hard to make an opener into one.

No No No
Everyone got it wrong.

Kusal perera and Dilshan munaweera is the good combination.

Don't add Dhanushka,he don't know how to play the cricket.

Munaweera is very good allrounding power hitter.Everyone thinking that he's only good for T20 format only, but he can bat ODI as well.

I don't know what is the reason behind that not given chances to him and kapugedera as well.

Munaweera had played many champions league all round the world, but Dhanuska is not. Then why given him a chance so many times.

If we want to Build a partnership and attack to the other side beginning onwards, definitely Munaweera and kusal perera is the good option.

Kapugedera must be in 4 or 5 down position. He is a very aggresive player and know how to play according to the situation.

Vithanage also need to add to side. He is good player too.

Prasanna must in the squad.he need to bat higher upping the order. Don't provide he and thisara to ground at the same time. That is worst strategy.

My Playing 16

1. Kusal perera
2. Munaweera
3. Kusal mendis
4. Kapugedera
5. Chandimal
6. Mathews
7. Prasanna
8. Vithanage
9. Thisara perera
10. Amila aponso
11. Kasun rajitha
12. Lahiru gamage
13. Dhananjaya silva
14. Anjelo perera
15. Dilruwan perera
16. lahiru kumara

I think dabulla ground pitch is green one, therefore lot of seaming available. That's why i put seamers to the squad.

weneed to ball first this kind of track.
