Kaushal silva is not that bad, has a good technique and temperament to open the batting... But he's not suitable in bouncy conditions at all, sadly due to his height.... He's ok in the subcontinent, but away from home even good length balls are sharp bouncers for him... its tough... better have backups for BOTH the openers. .

Avishka is quite young, better to bring someone who has some experience playing internationally like Dhanushka Gunathilaka. He has opened for ODI and im so shocked that he has never been even thought about to play test. Dickwella is also a good decision. Maybe drop both openers for them.

Dhanushka Gunathilaka
Niroshan Dickwella
Kusal Mendis
Upul Tharanga
Angelo Mathews
Dinesh Chandimal
Dhananjaya de Silva
Rangana Herath
Lahiru Kumara
Suranga Lakmal
Nuwan Pradeep

Amila Aponso is performing really well in the Premier tournament. He was left out for no reason. Lets give him support through media coz he deserves a place in the side.
