In this historical 5-0 Whitewash in England ....

Upul tharanga,s contribution in 5 Odis was 347 runs @ 70 Av - 84 SR - 120 (77 SR) @ Loard’s & 109 (107 SR) @ Leeds, 60 (SR 75) @ Manchester & 40 (SR 95)

Since then he was never given a chance to play in England... that was the bitterly sad reality in SL cricket..!

He holds SL's ever-best overall batting record Vs Eng: 578 runs-58 Av-3 x100 -2x50 from 11 odis.. but never given a chance Vs Eng since his unbeaten 102* Vs Eng in 2011 WC-QF match.!

Since that unbeaten 102* in 2011 World Cup quartet final, Upul scored 2 consecutive hundreds (playing for SL-A) vs England lions who toured SL just before the previous National side tour of Eng in June 2014, but as usual he was overlooked again for that Eng tour as well as for the 7 match odi series vs Eng played in Dec 2014 (preferring even players like Kandamby over him).
