What an example in humility. A class act all the way around. A national treasure indeed.

As a Sri-Lankan, I am so pleased to know that cricketers such as Kumar sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardne, Murali and co. played cricket as it should have been. A gentlemen's game. Sri-Lankan cricket will miss these stalwarts and with the abundance of young players, with the necessary exposure to cricket, will definitely fill the void left by these gentlemen.

Kumar Sangakkara is NOT a Sri Lankan. He is actually from somewhere. Over 99% of Sri Lankans doesn't has slightest characteristics of him. Kumar represents what we are significantly lacking and not striving hard to achieve. He is a rare gem and should one day be the president of Sri Lanka so he can rebuild this corrupt nation.

His achievements says it all, above them all his eloquence of speech is about the best so far heard, clarity, pronunciation, pluck and poise. Well done, now the challenge lies in the search of a replacement, however it would take a long time or not at all.

Please don’t blame the country. Sri Lanka is the pearl of the Indian Ocean. She has given birth to great people like SANGA; who is a true Sri Lankan. He is above all race, cast or creed. He walks the talk; he was a Sri Lankan who helped the cricketers’ in the North when North was isolated by dirty politics. He never announced any deeds, one day this famous cricketer just walked to the College, St Patrick’s and given his love and affection, the time the Northern Students were thriving to come out from the ravages of battle. Patricians all over the world will salute to this great individual of mother Lanka. We wish him all well for his future!!
